Heritage Woods of Batavia Heritage Woods of Batavia, nestled in the TriCity, Fox Valley area, was built on the Miller Farm property, historically the first farm in Batavia. In addition, our community is on the site of the first settler's homestead in Batavia in the 1800's. In a sense our name, Heritage Woods, gives honor to this rich history. It is this sense of community and history that draws residents to the Western Suburbs of Chicagoland. Being part of the Batavia community makes Heritage Woods rich with culture and community support. The Heritage Woods community was recently recognized by the Batavia Chamber of Commerce with the Ole Award for new construction that added dimension to the local community. Heritage Woods of Batavia is located within easy reach of community services and hospitals. Our activity department has planned special events including conversations with the Mayor of Batavia, Poetry readings, art exhibits and trips to local theatre and plays. The breakfasts are so wonderful that residents wish they could have breakfast all day!
