Heritage Woods of Centralia
Heritage Woods of Centralia is an affordable assisted lifestyle community designed for older adults of all incomes.
The community offers a wonderful alternative to struggling alone at home or to a nursing home for adults 65 and older who need some help to maintain their independence. Three meals a day plus snacks; housekeeping and laundry services; health monitoring and nursing assessments; and assistance with medications and activities of daily living are among the services included in the surprisingly affordable monthly fee.
With Heritage Woods of Centralia fully certified by the State of Illinois as a Supportive Living Facility, a financial assistance program is available for those who do not have the financial resources to afford the monthly fee.
The two-story building houses 74 apartments. Private studio and one-bedroom floor plans are available, with each apartment having its own kitchenette, private bathroom with shower, and emergency response system. Community areas include a spacious dining room, private dining room and area for activities, crafts and recreation.
Certified nurses assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.
Heritage Woods of Centralia is owned by BMA Properties, a company founded by Blair Minton, a graduate of Kaskaskia Junior College, and by Hunt and Bill Bonan of Peoples National Bank and Market Street BancShares in Mt. Vernon. The company is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., a leader in management of affordable assisted lifestyle communities.
The community is conveniently located on the south side of Hwy. 161, east of Airport Rd.
