Heritage Woods of McHenry
Heritage Woods of McHenry is an affordable assisted lifestyle community located in the heart of McHenry County. The two-story building is located west of Hwy. 31, between Bull Valley and Hwy. 120, just north of the west campus of McHenry High School.
The community provides a wonderful alternative to nursing home care for older adults of all incomes who need some help to maintain their independence, but do not require skilled nursing care.
Each of the 99 private apartments at Heritage Woods of McHenry features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower, individually controlled heat and air conditioning and emergency response system.
Help with medications and assistance with such activities of daily living as bathing, grooming, dressing and getting to and from the dining room and activities is available. Three meals a day as well as laundry and housekeeping services are included.
The emphasis is on maintaining health, wellness, dignity and independence.
Certified nurses assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the personal assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.
With Heritage Woods of McHenry being fully certified by the State of Illinois as a Supportive Living Facility, a financial assistance program is available for those who would not have the financial resources to pay the monthly fee.
