Heritage Woods of Rockford
The Heritage Woods of Rockford is an affordable assisted lifestyle community located less than one mile east of the Clock Tower Convention Center, on Show Place Drive north of E. State Street (Business Hwy. 20).
Fully certified through the State of Illinois’ supportive living program, the three-story community houses 99 apartments for adults 65 and older who may need some help to maintain their independence.
The community combines the benefits of residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special events. Older adults of all incomes, including those who cannot afford private pay assisted living, can qualify for residency.
Certified nurses’ assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Three meals a day, housekeeping and laundry services, and assistance with medications and such activities of daily living as bathing, grooming, dressing and getting to and from the dining room and activities are among the services included in the monthly fee.
Community areas include an activity room, beauty/barber shop, convenience store, exercise room, library, multipurpose room, and television lounge.
