Mrs.
Bleavins brings more than 10 years of experience in administration
of assisted living, supportive living and long-term care fields.
She also brings to BMA a complimentary background of nursing and
management. During her career with BMA, she has successfully managed
a supportive living facility from the pre-opening phase through
occupancy, pre-leasing at 100% prior to opening.
Mrs. Bleavins has nursing
experience that transcends from acute-hospital care and skilled long-term
care to assisted and supportive living settings. She has served as
Administrator for eight years and held the Director of Nursing
position in the above settings. She has experience in census and
staff development. She has transitioned facilities from intermediate
to skilled/Medicare as well as implemented satellite services.
Mrs. Bleavins attended the
University of Illinois and Millikin University. She holds a Bachelor
of Science in Nursing degree as well as a Master of Business Administration
degree. Mrs. Bleavins is a licensed nursing home administrator
and has a food service sanitation manager certificate. She has
been a member and volunteer of numerous organizations including
the Life Services Network of Illinois and the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition.
