The focus of the Sept. 20 show, which aired on WIND - 560 AM, is senior living options.
Rod Burkett and Wayne Smallwood, President of the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition, discussed Illinois’ innovative Supportive Living Program, which celebrated its 10th Anniversary month in September.
Both Rod and Wayne helped draft the legislation for the program, which this past year benefited an estimated 6,000 individuals who were on Medicaid and needed some help to maintain their independence.
