Fully certified to operate through the State of Illinois’ Supportive Living program, the Heritage Woods community is part of a developing residential neighborhood on the Diversatech campus on the east side of Manteno, Illinois. The Village of Manteno is located 40 miles south of downtown Chicago in Kankakee County, between Kankakee and Peotone.

Managed by BMA Management, Ltd., since the community opened in March 2005, Heritage Woods of Manteno combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs.

The community serves as a wonderful alternative to nursing home care or struggling alone at home and especially benefits those who cannot afford private pay assisted living.

The two-story building houses 87 private apartments. Each of the apartments features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and emergency response system. Studio and one-bedroom as well as a limited number of two-bedroom floor plans are available.

The community is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by our compassionate staff of certified nurses assistants, who work under the direction of the community's licensed nursing staff. Residents receive the personalized assistance they need to compliment their individual abilities. In addition, the availability of home-cooked meals and a wide variety of activities and social events help enable residents to enjoy a full and active lifestyle.
