Bowling Teams Qualify for Playoffs Date Posted : 04/10/2012 Two Wii Bowling teams from Heritage Woods of Manteno have qualified for the playoffs in the statewide 2012 Supportive Living Wii Bowling Tournament being hosted by the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition (AALC).The Mighty Acorns and the Mighty Oaks qualified by finishing among the top eight teams in the Green Division. The Mighty Acorns finished in first place.Members of the Mighty Acorns are Heritage Woods of Manteno residents Larry Lanoue, Marie Reneau, Joe Stalzer and Helen Wotring.Members of the Mighty Oaks are Heritage Woods of Manteno residents Doris Ervin, Rosa Marr, Isabelle Stanley, Sylvia Walsh and Eathel Zwahlen.The teams that win each of the four divisions in the playoffs will compete in the Illinois Supportive Living Wii Bowling Final Four in Springfield, Illinois, on April 30 and May 1.The Mighty Acorns and the Mighty Oaks were two of the 17 teams from affordable assisted living communities managed by BMA Management to qualify for the playoffs.The AALC is a professional organization that represents affordable assisted living communities throughout the State that operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program.
