Heritage Woods of McLeansboro is the only affordable assisted living community in Hamilton County, Illinois.
The community, which opened in December 2008, is located adjacent to Hamilton Memorial Hospital, on South Marshall Avenue, south of Hwy. 14 and west of Hwy. 142 and Hwy. 242 in McLeansboro, Illinois.
McLeansboro is located south of I-64 in southeastern Illinois.
Managed by BMA Management, Ltd., Heritage Woods of McLeansboro was developed and is owned by Fox Meadows SLF, LP, primarily to benefit the more than 60% of the older adult population in Hamilton County that does not have the financial resources to afford private pay assisted living.
BMA Management was founded by Blair Minton, a native of McLeansboro.

Serving adults 65 and older of all incomes, the community combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs.
The one-story building houses 41 studio and one-bedroom apartments, each with its own kitchenette, private bathroom with shower, and emergency response system. Community areas include an activity room, beauty/barber shop, dining room, living room with fireplace, patio and television lounge.
Certified nurses assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the personal assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.
