Heritage Woods of Watseka is the only affordable assisted living community in Iroquois County, Illinois.
Watseka is located southeast of Kankakee, Illinois, and east of Gilman and Onarga.
Fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, the Heritage Woods community is designed to serve adults 65 years of age and older of all incomes who need some help to maintain their independence, providing a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or struggling alone at home.
The two-story building is located in a tranquil and attractive residential area on the southeast side of Watseka, Illinois, near Iroquois Memorial Hospital, and within close proximity to Hwy. 1, Hwy. 24, shopping, doctors' offices and the library.
Watseka, which serves as the County seat for Iroquois County, has the charm and feel of a small town while offering many of the service and amenities found in larger cities.

Managed by BMA Management, Ltd., since the community opened in June 2004, Heritage Woods of Watseka combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs.
Each of the 65 apartments at Heritage Woods features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and emergency response system. Studio and one-bedroom floor plans are available.
The community is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by our compassionate staff of certified nurses assistants, who work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff. Residents receive the personalized assistance they need to compliment their individual abilities. In addition, the availability of home-cooked meals and a wide variety of activities and social events help enable residents to enjoy a full and active lifestyle.
