Heritage Woods of Yorkville is the first affordable assisted living community to be developed in Kendall County, Illinois.
The community is located on Greenbriar, Rd., one block west of Hwy. 47, north of Hwy. 71 in Yorkville, Illinois.
Yorkville is nestled along the Fox River in the heart of Kendall County, approximately 50 miles west of Chicago, near the communities of Oswego, Plano, Montgomery and Sugar Grove.
Fully certified through the State of Illinois’ Supportive Living program, Heritage Woods of Yorkville is designed to serve adults 65 and older of all incomes who may need some help to maintain their independence. The community serves as a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home and especially benefits older adults who may not have the financial resources to afford private pay assisted living.
Especially Designed for You
Managed by BMA Management, Ltd., since it opened in December 2007, Heritage Woods of Yorkville houses 87 studio and one-bedroom apartments.
Each of the apartments features a kitchenette, private bathroom with shower, and emergency response system. Community areas include an activity room, beauty/barber shop, convenience store, dining room, exercise room, library, patio and television lounge.
Certified nurses assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the personal assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff.
