Wii Bowling Team Elite

The Prairie Pins bowling team from Prairie Living has rolled into the Elite Eight in the statewide 2012 Supportive Living Wii Bowling Tournament being hosted by the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition (AALC).

The Prairie Pins qualified by finishing in second place in the Green Division in the second round of the playoffs.

Team members are Prairie Living residents Maurine Bovee, Aaron Freeman, Louise Lecocq, Betty Mahan, Gladys Nasif and P.J. Weihl.

The Prairie Pins will compete against the Mighty Acorns from Heritage Woods of Manteno, with the winning team going to the Illinois Supportive Living Wii Bowling Final Four in Springfield, Illinois, on April 30 and May 1.

The Prairie Pins was one of the 17 teams from affordable assisted living communities managed by BMA Management to qualify for the playoffs and is one of four teams from BMA communities in the Elite Eight.

The AALC is a professional organization that represents affordable assisted living communities throughout the State that operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program.
